Medical Assistant (MA)

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for a newly created float position. This position works three days a week: Mondays & Tuesdays (10-6pm OR 8-6pm), and Fridays (8-4pm). The greatest need is in our Waukesha Clinic, but flexibility is needed to support our Brookfield and Sussex satellites if needed. No weekends, no holidays, and no on call. Two years’ experience as an MA preferred.

Summary: Responsible for providing professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures
  • Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up
  • Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, along with CPR certification
  • Two years’ experience preferred
  • Woman’s health, OB-GYN, or L&D experience preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations.
  • Ability to use critical thinking/ problem solving strategies, exceptional organization, and time management skills
  • Above average skills in patient education and counseling

Patient Service Representative (PSR)

This full-time, 4 days a week position supporting our Waukesha and Oconomowoc Clinics: Monday-Wednesday (9am-6pm in Waukesha), Thursday (OFF) and Friday (9am-3pm in Oconomowoc). NO holidays and NO on-call hours.

Position Summary:As a patient service representative, you are the face of our office, responsible for creating a positive first impression for our patients and visitors.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide professional customer service to meet individual patient needs, with a caring and empathetic approach
  • Register patients for appointments by verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and explanation of paperwork
  • Collect payments
  • Appointment scheduling and confirmation
  • Answer and direct inbound phone calls
  • General clerical support

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in healthcare office or fast-paced, highly interactive customer service environment preferred
  • Computer skills required, Microsoft Office competent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EPIC software preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Professional and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills

RN Float (Triage & Clinic Nurse)

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced RN for a newly created float position. This position will work in a clinic nurse role and support our on-site triage team. This position could be 4 or 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts. Monday-Thursdays (10am-6pm) Fridays (8-4pm). If working 4 days a week the off day would be Wednesdays. The primary clinic site would be in Waukesha, but flexibility needs to support our other clinic locations needed. No weekends, no holidays, and no call.

Two years’ experience as a nurse with one year of triage experience preferred. Woman’s health experience preferred. This position works on-site, not remote.

  • Executes duties as a triage nurse which includes emergent calls/situations, data collection, and documentation
  • Assists physician/providers, as well as planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures
  • Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up
  • Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient
  • If an RN, supervise all nursing functions and takes responsibility for mentoring duties performed by LPN or MA

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Current WI valid nurse license; along with CPR certification
  • Two years’ experience as a nurse and one year’s experience in triage preferred
  • Woman’s health, OB-GYN, or L&D experience preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations.
