Credentialing Specialist & Business Office Representative

Do you have credentialing experience? Would you like to work for an employer who has won the Journal/Sentinel Top Employer Award six years in a row? Look no further!

As we continue to grow, we are excited to add this new full-time position to our business office team.

Qualifications include the following:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Two years of credentialing experience required.
  • Experience with an EMR required, Epic experience preferred but can train.
  • Previous billing/payment posting experience preferred but can train.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing, for interactions with patients, staff, providers, and external organizations.
  • Positive disposition, cooperative, flexible, and takes initiative.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Primary function is maintaining and successful credentialing of all billing providers and managed contracts.
  • Cross trained in billing, payment posting, and account receivable claims as part of the functions of the business office representative role.
  • Cross trained in face-to-face patient interactions to provide benefit and payment options as a patient financial advocate.
Patient Service Representative (PSR)

This position is a 4-day work week (36 hours/week): Monday (7:30-5pm in Waukesha), Tuesday (8:30-6pm in Waukesha), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (8:30-5:30pm in Oconomowoc), and Friday (8:30-3:30pm in Waukesha). No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call hours.

 

Summary: As a patient service representative, you are the face of our office, responsible for creating a positive first impression for our patients and visitors.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide professional customer service to meet individual patient needs, with a caring and empathetic approach.
  • Register patients for appointments by verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility and explanation of paperwork.
  • Collect payments.
  • Appointment scheduling and confirmation
  • Answer and direct inbound phone calls
  • General clerical support

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in healthcare office or fast-paced, highly interactive customer service environment preferred
  • Computer skills required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EPIC software preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Professional and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
Sonographer

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilize clinical and technical knowledge to obtain high-quality sonographic images
  • Create detailed patient worksheets to provide physicians with accurate diagnostic images for interpretation
  • Mondays (9-5pm, Waukesha), Tuesdays (8-4pm, Oconomowoc), Wednesdays (8-4pm, Oconomowoc), Thursdays (10-6pm, Waukesha), and Fridays (8-3pm, Waukesha)

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Registered Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB-GYN
  • 1 year OB-GYN scanning experience preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred, but not required
  • Self-motivated and organized to work in a fast-paced environment at an elevated level
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Utilize clinical and technical knowledge to obtain high-quality sonographic images
  • Create detailed patient worksheets to provide physicians with accurate diagnostic images for interpretation
  • Promote a smooth flow of patients to create a calm and supportive atmosphere
