Medical Assistant (MA)- Oconomowoc

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistants for newly created float positions:

  • Oconomowoc Clinic 4 or 5 days/week: Mondays (8-4pm), Tuesdays (10-6pm), Wednesdays (8-4pm), Thursdays (10-6pm), and Fridays (8-4pm).
  • Waukesha Clinic 3 or 4 days/week: Mondays (8-6pm), Tuesdays (8-6pm) 10am-6pm), Wednesdays (7/8am-3/4pm), Thursdays (OFF), and Fridays (8-4pm).
  • NO weekends, NO holidays, and NO on-call requirements.
  • Two years’ experience as an MA preferred.

Summary: Responsible for providing professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures
  • Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up
  • Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, along with CPR certification
  • Two years’ experience preferred
  • Woman’s health, OB-GYN, or L&D experience preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations.
  • Ability to use critical thinking/ problem solving strategies, exceptional organization, and time management skills
  • Above average skills in patient education and counseling

Medical Payment Poster/Financial Counseling Representative (on-site)

This key role supports our patients through high-quality medical claims management with a kind and compassionate approach. This is full-time, on-site, Monday - Friday, 40-hour day position. This on-site position is located at our Waukesha Clinic.

Key Functions:

  • Medical payment posting from insurance payer remittances electronically and on paper, for government and commercial payers
  • Work with patients to make payment arrangements, review benefits, and process refunds
  • Communicate with medical insurance companies regarding claims denials, remittances (EOB's) from payers, follow-up authorizations, and insurance verification

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of patient account transactions. Prior medical billing and payment posting experience required.
  • Exceptional organization skills, the ability to multi-task, and work independently
  • Strong computer skills in Excel and Word along with basic math knowledge
  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and billing software (Epic) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry

Nursing Supervisor
We are growing! Moreland OB-GYN is excited to begin recruitment for a Nursing Supervisor position. This position will partner with the Nursing Manager to focus on daily operations and supervisor of the nursing division of a multi-location independently owned healthcare organization.

In this role, some of the Nursing Supervisor responsibilities include scheduling and staffing coordination, onboarding new staff, developing ongoing training materials, staff education, competency assessments, workflow development, and policies and procedure support.

The Nursing Supervisor will embody the core competencies of the organization: compassion, collaboration, and providing exceptional healthcare to the community. Connecting through visibility, being approachable, the ability to engage staff, and the conduit to collaboration between providers, staff, and other organizational divisions is essential.

Requirements:
  • Leadership experience; 1-3 years preferred
  • Experience working in a clinic setting required; OB-GYN or Women’s Health preferred
  • BSN required
  • An active RN license in the State of Wisconsin to step in to help staff if needed
  • This is an on-site position working five days a week with flexibility to support both our Waukesha and Oconomowoc clinics

Patient Service Representative (PSR)

We are an OB-GYN practice looking for someone with strong computer skills who enjoys working with patients. Do others describe you as having a positive and enthusiastic attitude with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficient in Microsoft Office?

This is a 5 day/week, full-time position, supporting both our Waukesha and Oconomowoc Clinics. Flexibility needed to work 8 hours a day during clinic hours: Mondays-Thursdays (7:30am-6pm) and Fridays (7:30am-4pm). NO weekends, NO holidays, and NO on-call hours.

Position Summary:As a patient service representative, you are the face of our office, responsible for creating a positive first impression for our patients and visitors.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide professional customer service to meet individual patient needs, with a caring and empathetic approach
  • Register patients for appointments by verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and explanation of paperwork
  • Collect payments
  • Appointment scheduling and confirmation
  • Answer and direct inbound phone calls
  • General clerical support

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in healthcare office or fast-paced, highly interactive customer service environment preferred
  • Computer skills required, Microsoft Office competent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EPIC software preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Practice Administrator

Moreland OB-GYN is looking for a Practice Administrator to lead our division managers. We are looking for a leader with a minimum of five years of senior-level managerial experience, with dual focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction, and managing daily operations of a multi-location independently owned healthcare organization.

In this role, the Practice Administrator responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing the overall clinical and business operations to meet patient needs and financial objectives of the practice. Ensures the organization remains in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies of governmental authorities and payers.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Practice Administrator will embody the core leadership competencies of the organization: lead with accountability, communicate with purpose, think critically and act strategically, and build a culture of collaboration. Along with maintaining a culture focused on collaborative and excellent delivery of care, the Practice Administrator will embody interdepartmental collaboration and operate effectively within a Dyad Leadership Healthcare model.

Direct reports for this position are:

  • APP Manager
  • Nursing Manager
  • Patient Access Manager
  • Revenue Cycle Manager
  • Ultrasound Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years’ senior-level experience managing multiple divisions and work locations within a health care practice. OB-GYN or Women’s Health clinic setting preferred.
  • The ability to work five days a week within the clinic office and support clinic hours as needed, which may include occasional work outside normal workday hours.

Registered Nurse

Moreland is an OB-GYN. We are looking for an experienced RN for a clinic float/triage position. We have two positions available:

  • 4 days/week (32 hours) Monday–Thursday, 10am-6pm at our Waukesha Clinic.
  • 3 days/week (24 hours) Mondays & Thursdays 7am-3pm in Waukesha, and Fridays 8am-4pm in Oconomowoc.
  • No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements.
  • Two years’ experience as a nurse with one year of triage experience preferred. Woman’s health experience preferred.

Summary: Responsible for providing professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executes duties as a triage nurse which includes emergent calls/situations, data collection and documentation
  • Assists physician/providers, as well as planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures
  • Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up
  • Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient.
  • If an RN, supervise all nursing functions and takes responsibility for mentoring duties performed by LPN or MA

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Current WI valid nurse license; along with CPR certification
  • Two years’ experience as a nurse and one year experience in triage preferred
  • Woman’s health, OB-GYN or L&D experience preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations.
