MEDICAL ASSISTANT/CHAPERONE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Assistant or someone with a year of direct patient care who could be trained as a Medical Chaperone to join our team!

We have two (4) a week positions available. NO weekends, NO call, and NO holidays. These positions support both our Waukesha and Oconomowoc Clinics. 

Position #1: Mondays (8-4pm), Tuesdays (7:30am-4pm), Wednesday (OFF), Thursdays (10am-6pm), and Fridays (7:30am-3:30pm)

Position #2: Mondays (7:30am-3:30pm), Tuesdays (OFF), Wednesdays (10am-6pm), Thursdays (7:30am-4pm), and Fridays (8-4pm)

Summary: Responsible for providing professional care as a liaison between patients and physicians. You will assist during a patient visit to ensure the patient and provider are comfortable, safe, and secure during exams or procedures as a Medical Assistant or trained observer (Medical Chaperone).

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assists physician/provider in preparation of patients for exam.
  • Assist and/or observe the provider with examinations and various procedures as required including proper handling of specimen collection 
  • Additional Medical Assistant duties once trained may include: 
    • Intake of health information including vitals. 
    • Manages daily office duties; medication refills, result notifications, documentation within EMR 
    • Collaborates regarding plan of care, facilitating follow-up, and administration of medications/ injections under guidance of provider or nurse. 
    • Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing the learning needs of patients. 
  • Oversee smooth progression of daily patient schedules, monitoring patient flow, and assists patients scheduling appointments as needed. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities: 

  • The completion of a Medical Assistant training program or having worked as a Medical Assistant for at least a year. Current CPR certification. 
  • At least a year of hands-on patient care to be considered for the Medical Chaperone role.  We can train the right person to become a Medical Assistant. 
  • Previous OB-GYN experience helpful but not required. 
  • Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred. 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills

NURSE MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced leader to join our practice. In this role, the Nurse Manager is responsible for dual focus of daily operations and supervision of nursing team within all lines of service. Responsible for ensuring quality patient care is being delivered to patients, while managing division budgets, managing operational efficiencies and productivity of division, implementing policies, developing team leads and staff, and ensuring compliance and patient safety.

The Nurse Manager will embody the core competencies of the organization: promote synergy, connect through visibility, be engaged, adaptively manage, instill accountability, effect change, and integrate knowledge through their team and interdepartmental collaboration, and operate effectively within a Dyad Leadership Healthcare model.  

Requirements: 

  • Minimum five years proven leadership experience in health care. OB-GYN or Women’s Health clinic setting preferred. 
  • BSN required. Master’s degree preferred.  
  • An active RN license in the State of Wisconsin. 
  • This is an on-site position working five days a week.

PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (PSR)

No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call hours.  This is a four day a week position. Flexibility is needed to support clinic hours Monday-Thursday (7:00am-6:00pm) and Fridays (7:00am-4:00pm) at our Waukesha and Oconomowoc Clinics.  

Position Summary: As a patient service representative, you are the face of our office, responsible for creating a positive first impression for our patients and visitors.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide professional customer service to meet individual patient needs, with a caring and empathetic approach
  • Register patients for appointments by verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility and explanation of paperwork
  • Collect payments
  • Appointment scheduling and confirmation
  • Answer and direct inbound phone calls
  • General clerical support

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in healthcare office or fast-paced, highly interactive customer service environment preferred
  • Computer skills required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EPIC software preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Professional and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills

PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR

We are growing! Moreland OB-GYN is excited to begin recruitment for our Practice Administrator position. We are looking for a leader with a minimum of five years of senior-level managerial experience, with dual focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction, and managing daily operations of a multi-location independently owned healthcare organization.  

In this role, the Practice Administrator responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing the overall clinical and business operations to meet patient needs and financial objectives of the practice. Ensures the organization remains in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies of governmental authorities and payers. 

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Practice Administrator will embody the core leadership competencies of the organization: promote synergy, connect through visibility, be engaged, adaptively manage, instill accountability, effect change, and integrate knowledge. Along with maintaining a culture focused on collaborative and excellent delivery of care, the Practice Administrator will embody interdepartmental collaboration and operate effectively within a Dyad Leadership Healthcare model.

  • Patient Access Manager 
  • Revenue Cycle Manager 
  • Ultrasound Manager 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum five years’ senior-level experience managing multiple divisions and work locations within a health care practice. OB-GYN or Women’s Health clinic setting preferred. 
  • The ability to work five days a week within the clinic office and support clinic hours as needed, which may include occasional work outside normal workday hours.
