Endometrial Ablation Procedure

When vaginal bleeding is abnormally high during a menstrual cycle, an Endometrial Ablation will destroy a thin layer of the uterus lining to help bring the bleeding to a normal level.

There are multiple techniques used for this procedure such as using radiofrequency, freezing, heated fluid, heated balloon, microwave energy, and electrosurgery.
