Here at Moreland OB-GYN, we take a very comprehensive approach to your pregnancy. This means we are here for you at every stage–from preconception counseling through postpartum!
As a service to you, Moreland OB-GYN has included an initial consult in your pregnancy care. We feel this consult makes us stand out from other clinics because our first visit with you is as early as eight to ten weeks. This consult is required for each subsequent pregnancy so we can address potential changes in your health and history.
During the consult, the RN Obstetrical (OB) Consult Coordinator will assess any of your current or immediate medical needs by reviewing the following: menstrual history, previous pregnancies, past medical history, family history, social history, GYN history, infection history, and genetic history. The OB Consult Coordinator will then review your health maintenance, medications, allergies, and review of systems. During this visit, we will order initial obstetrical labs, and early pregnancy information will be reviewed.
Moreland OB-GYN also takes pride in offering you state of the art genetic screening right here in our Waukesha office. During the consult, the OB Consult Coordinator will be taking time to review this screening and answering any questions or concerns you have regarding your pregnancy.
