Novasure

Novasure endometrial ablation is a quick, minimally invasive procedure that significantly reduces or stops heavy periods in 90% of women. Novasure is used to treat menorrhagia or heavy periods. It is an endometrial ablation procedure that removes the endometrium or lining of the uterus that is causing the heavy bleeding. It works by using a small device placed inside the uterus to deliver radiofrequency energy to the lining of the uterus for 90 seconds. After this, the device is removed and nothing is left behind.
