Dr. Nelson is married with three children. She enjoys walking her dog (a yellow lab named Penny), spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Badgers, Packers and Brewers.

Dr. Nelson grew up in New Berlin, Wisconsin and went to high school at Catholic Memorial in Waukesha. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a Certified Menopause Practitioner with the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).

Dr. Nelson sees patients at our Waukesha and Oconomowoc locations.
