Katie received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Concordia University Wisconsin. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master of Public Health from Purdue University Global.

She is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants.

Before becoming a physician assistant, Katie served as a decorated Combat Army Veteran for 15 years, working as a lead surgical technologist and chief ward master on trauma surgical teams. She also has 14 years of experience as a labor and delivery surgical technologist.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys running and HIIT training, spending time with her husband, young children, dog, and cat, exploring local restaurants, and cheering on Wisconsin’s professional and college sports teams.
